Q: Is a deposit required?

A: Yes a Minimum deposit of half of the total order  value . This is non refundable. As on placing of the order we will be buying the materials .The remainder to be paid on completion, before the order is dispatched. We will contact you when the order is completed.

Q: How do I pay?

A: At the moment you can pay by cheque or postal order, or by cash in person.  We hope to be able to offer credit and debit cards via Paypal in the future.

Q: Can I choose the wording?

A: Yes, we can also show you different styles of wording upon request.

Q: Do you provide samples by post?

A: If you want to see a particular design in your chosen colour scheme we charge £7 including Postage. This is becuase we do not keep samples in stock and have to get materials specially. We can also print the words of your choice in the sample.

If you subsequently order your stationery from us we will deduct the cost of your sample.


Q: How far in advance should we send our invitations?

A: At least three months before the wedding date.  We found even sending them at 5 months that some guests were already busy that day, so really the answer is the sooner the better

The number of invitations you need is best resolved when you know how many you are inviting to the reception.

Q How soon before the Wedding should we get replies by?

A It is best to get your replies by the date you have to confirm final numbers to your reception venue, so make sure you ask for replies to be in at least two weeks before that date (you know how some people are slow at responding)

It is best calculated around the date you have to confirm your reception numbers e.g. Reception confirmation 6 weeks before the wedding. Therefore reply date is 8 weeks (2 months) before. Usually allow 1 month for guests to reply so send invites 3 months before the wedding.

Q: How quickly can we get our stationery from ordering?

A: We will want to make one of each, send them to you to get agreement you are happy with the wording, after which we aim to have all orders processed from confirmation of text within 4 weeks. We usually get them done within as week but it depends on how busy we are. So it is always best to ask .

Q: What are the costs for delivery?

A At the moment it is £3.00 for 10 cards, we always pack securly and use recorded delivery. Postage and packing will vary for larger orders depending on the cost , however we will always confirm what the cost will be

Q: Are envelopes and insert pages included?

A: Yes- for the cards printed insert sheets and ivory envelopes are included.

Q: Is there a minimum order number?

A: No, just remember that  it is often advisable to order a few extras, particularly with evening invites. We will charge you at the same rate and consider it part of the main order. (others charge as a new order)

Q: Do you make Placecards, Order of Service, and Thank you’s?

A: We offer a comprehensive range of additional items to match your chosen invite design, which can be handmade also or a more basic version in the colours of your handmade design.

Q: When should I order Placecards, Favour bags or boxes and Thank you cards?

A: To be safe these are best confirmed once you have received your invite replies. That way you are not paying for more than you actually need. A provisional order with deposit can be placed along with your invites, then numbers confirmed after your replies are received.  If wanted we can write the menu cards with your guests names if requested, for which we will charge a nominal cost.

Q: What happens if I need to change my order?
A: If it is an increase then please give at least two weeks notice. If it is a decrease then please let me know immediatley.

Q: What happens if I cancel part of the order?

A: If you no longer need part of your order then please notify me at least 4 weeks notice before the delivery date. I will have to charge for the cost of any materials purchased to cover my costs.
